Stayed here many times. It is an old house but very clean with maid service. Very good location, 10 min of City centre. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Good budget place to stay!!! Booked this place for my mates who come to visit Cambridge, they all happy with their stay. All pleasant, very clean room, kind staff, free parking and wifi that work brilliantly. Very nice short walk to town. All in all good budget accommodation in Cambridge.

It was a good place.Self chekin service was there.I haven't encountered much people there but rooms were clean and cozy with television available there.

A happy customer and will soon be a regular one. An old English house with good location, short walk along the river to town center, shops and resturant nearby. CATS is just opposite so great for us to visit our child who studying in Cambridge Art and Science college. No breakfast but we like that because we don't like the English food that much. Go to Spar or Stir to have breakfast, they are nice people to chat there. Good price for Cambridge and less than half price of Hotel chains. The manager is very happy, chatty and super helpful. Self check in is very easy if you arrived too early or too late. Room was clean and shared bathroom was also very clean BUT you have to share with another 2 rooms. In the morning you can use the bathroom and toilet on groundfloor for another 2 shared bathrooms as the first floor there is only one and someone might spent whole moring in there.

This is a good guest house well located in Cambridge. You get what you pay for: in my case I paid £50 and received a small, clean attic room. If you're looking for a bed then this is ideal - although breakfast is not included "The Tivoli" (J D Weatherspoon) is a short walk down the road, where you'll find plenty of space, free WiFi, and a good quality and great value breakfast. If you're planning to spend a long time in your room then I'd suggest that this is not the right place to stay, but if you need a bed, good value, and a friendly and accommodating owner than I'd recommend Lantern Guest House.

Best prices on Telephone booking. I got 3 rooms for myself and my family, single room En-suit just £45, Double room En-suit for £60 and Studio for 3-4 people with small kitchen and en-suit for only £100 which we were very happy. Stayed for 4 night in August and will book again.

Clean and convenient. Practical for quick stay or while working locally. Not really touristy but fine as a place to stay. Convenient location with some parking.

Cheap and cheerful. The Lantern Guest House is a little bit rough around the edges, but it's clean and the beds are comfortable. Our group of four spent a long weekend here as the HQ for a stag, the staff that helped us over the phone were polite and accomodating. The guest house itself is a 25 / 30 minute walk from the town centre or a 15 minute scoot on one of the Voi electric scooter rentals that are dotted around Cambridge. We had no issues checking in or out and the rooms were clean and airy. Thanks for having us.
